Safer School, Stronger Community Campaign

MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT

When Heritage Hall’s founders envisioned having all the School’s divisions on one campus in the early 1970s, they also anticipated that the School would need ample room for growth. The Founders accomplished both with the purchase of 67 undeveloped acres in northwest Oklahoma City.

As our enrollment has grown over the years, so has our campus, which has expanded its footprint to 112 acres. In particular, the consistent growth in our Lower School enrollment points to the importance of additional facilities to serve our thriving campus.

The safety of our students and employees inspired us to launch an exciting campaign, Safer School, Stronger Community, beginning with the construction of a new gymnasium near the Lower School. Thanks to a generous lead gift from Lauren and Leo Mingee, The Mingee Family Gymnasium will double as an all-school, FEMA-approved storm shelter, rated to withstand an EF-5 tornado and spacious enough to accommodate all students, staff, and campus visitors quickly.

The Mingee Family has issued a $2M matching gift challenge to launch this campaign, and I’m confident that Chargers will respond to this challenge with enthusiasm.

I invite you to help us build a Safer School and a Stronger Community!
