Students Grow Through Service to Others
Service-learning is a key component of the Heritage Hall curriculum. As early as preschool, students learn the value of kindness and service to others within our community and a broader social context.
Among this year's projects, third graders collected 376 pairs of new shoes and 2,000 pairs of new socks for Citizens Caring for Children; fifth graders made holiday cards for the Homeless Alliance; and Upper School students raised close to $13,000 for the Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma during SWAG Week. Other service beneficiaries included City Rescue Mission, Halo Project, Pambe Ghana, The Palomar Center, and Special Care.
